Students in Mrs. Royce-Tolland's grade two class share their ancestry. Listen to them talk about where their relatives come from, as they share their stories with us.

Georgia, this was fascinating to read. I bet you learned a lot about London during the Blitz by doing this research. It was a pretty scary time for people everywhere, but life for people in London was especially scary. Your great grandfather sounds like a very kind-hearted man, and I am sorry you never got to meet him. I know he would be honored to know you wrote this awesome report about him and shared it with the world. I am proud of you, too! Nice job!! Mrs. R.-T.

Hi Georgia!
What a wonderful Ancestor Story you wrote and read so beautifully. Your great grandfather was very brave and your great grandmother was too. I'm sure it was a very frightening time for everyone in London. It is so important to remember all that our families have done for us. You have honored your great grandparents with your beautiful history.
Great Job G! Your story was so interesting and you did an amazing job reading it. It sounds like your great grandfather and your nan were very brave during World War II.
Hope to see you soon!
