Dan, this is a wonderful story. I wish you had met your great grandmother, too. She sounds like a talented and fascinating person. Since you asked, my ancestors come from France, Germany, Italy and the British Isles. Some settled in the northeast around Bar Harbor. Some settled in the Midwest, and some settled in the Wild West near San Francisco. My dad's mom died before I was five, but she lived in San Francisco and was a photographer, an artist, and friend of Houdini's. I wish I'd had more time to get to know her. Your great grandma Bambina would be proud if she knew you'd chosen her for your report. You've done a great job on this project, Dan. Nice work!---Mrs. R.-T.
